BIMA is excited to announce a brand-new training event designed to support final-year nursing and midwifery students as they prepare to step into their professional careers.
The ACE: Foundation Nursing and Midwifery Training will take place online on Sunday 5th October 2025, from 12:00–1:00PM. This free session is tailored to equip future nurses and midwives with the skills, confidence, and insights they need to make a smooth transition into the workplace.
Delivered by both experienced and newly qualified healthcare professionals, the programme will share practical tips and lived experiences to help attendees feel prepared for the challenges and opportunities ahead.
Highlights include:
- Guidance from Dr Muhammed Yaseen, a Nurse Consultant specialising in infection prevention
- Insights from Ms Nafiza Anwar, dual-qualified nurse and midwife, and Director of the Association of South Asian Midwives
