About this advice

In our letter to the GMC, we’ve conveyed our profound concerns regarding the ongoing Middle East crisis, namely its humanitarian impact on Gaza and the healthcare community.

We’re particularly troubled by the disciplinary actions and GMC referrals that our Muslim doctors are now facing after expressing views that advocate for Palestinians. We appeal for the GMC’s support and clear guidelines on how to handle these regulatory referrals, especially for international medical graduates. It’s crucial for us to have assurance that the GMC’s processes remain fair and just.

Furthermore, we express our willingness to engage in a dialogue to discuss this issue and extend our support.
