About this advice

Finding a place to pray in a hospital can often be a difficult task – whether your a patient, a relative or a healthcare worker. Many hospitals are equipped with facilities to make this easier but sometimes gathering the details for these areas can be difficult. BIMA has created a Hospital Prayer Room Guide for various hospitals across the UK, that can be added to your Google Maps App.

We are happy to add/update the prayer room details on this map, so please fill in the form at the bottom of this page with your suggestions.

To access this:

    1. Click the link below

    2.The map will appear on your Google Maps and should be accessible anytime you access the app

    3.Search your hospital

    4.Click on the blue location pin

    5.Click more info – this will include further details about the prayer facilities such as where they are, if there are wudhu facilities available, etc.

    6.The prayer room guide will automatically appear each time you open the Google maps app.

If you would like to remove the guide from your google map apps:

    1.Click any blue location pin

    2.Click on the hospital name in the white box – this will cause the white box to enlarge

    3.Click View map legend

    4.Click close

    5.To access the map again, please use the link above
