On 12th March, BIMA delivered Islamophobia Awareness Training at Kingston Hospital, London. This session aimed to equip staff with practical tools to better support Muslim colleagues and patients, fostering a more inclusive and understanding workplace.

The training covered key insights on recognising and addressing Islamophobia in healthcare settings, ensuring that both staff and patients feel safe and supported.

A huge thank you to Dr Natasha Abdul Aziz for arranging the session and to Santi Pokar and the team for their fantastic coordination on the day. It’s encouraging to see hospitals taking proactive steps to tackle Islamophobia, and we look forward to working with you again in the future.
