We are pleased to announce that BIMA has been officially listed as a support partner by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and is now featured on their website under organisations that provide support to registrants undergoing the Fitness to Practise (FtP) process.
The FtP process can be challenging and overwhelming, often leading to anxiety for registrants. BIMA is committed to providing culturally sensitive, confidential, and practical support to nurses, midwives, and nursing associates during these times. You can now find our details alongside other organisations offering support to registrants.
BIMA remains committed to supporting our healthcare professionals. If you are navigating the FtP process, reach out to us for guidance and reassurance. Email in confidence: [email protected]. Or call: 0203 551 2497
In addition to BIMA’s services, the NMC also provides access to the Fitness to Practise Careline, which offers free, independent, confidential, and non-judgemental emotional support and practical advice. This service is available 24/7, 365 days a year. Other support partners from a range of organisations can also offer support.Â
