Following publication of the Mann Review on antisemitism in the NHS, BIMA met with Lord Mann and the Department of Health and Social Care on the 9th June 2026.

We attended to highlight the serious concerns that have been raised by our members. We did not attend to endorse the report.

The DHSC has committed to a written response to our submission, clarity on which discrimination definitions have been formally adopted by regulators, and BIMA’s inclusion in the implementation programme.

We will hold them to ensuring that discrimination in the NHS is addressed equitably.
