BIMA is proud to have contributed to the development of No One Left Behind – Achieving Equity in Diabetes: 2025–2030, a bold national strategy aimed at addressing unfairness in diabetes care across the UK.
Led by Diabetes UK, the Tackling Inequity Strategy was shaped by the voices of people living with or at risk of diabetes, and built through collaboration with healthcare professionals, communities, and organisations like BIMA. The strategy sets out a clear vision to ensure that everyone — regardless of their background or circumstances — can access the care, support, and opportunities they need to live well.
BIMA’s involvement reflects our commitment to improving health equity and amplifying the needs of underrepresented communities in healthcare.
