The latest BIMA survey has been published in the international journal Medicine, Conflict and Survival.
The study focused on:
- Well-being impact
- Freedom of expression and censorship
- Islamophobia faced by Muslim healthcare professionals during the ongoing genocide in Gaza
The findings reveal widespread censorship, moral injury, and discrimination – pressures that are deepening during a live-streamed genocide and affecting every part of healthcare professionals’ work and lives.
Healthcare workers must have the freedom to stand for human rights, to advocate for colleagues in Gaza, and to speak out against genocide.
