Sunday 7th September marked the first World Radiotherapy Awareness Day (WRAD), a moment to stand together and spotlight the tremendous impact of radiotherapy in cancer care and the role of Therapeutic Radiographers.

At the British Islamic Medical Association (BIMA), we proudly join the global campaign united under the theme “One Voice for Radiotherapy.” Together, we recognise the life-saving skills and compassion of professionals delivering radiotherapy and reaffirm our commitment to equitable access for all.
