The British Islamic Medical Association (BIMA) invites you to mark Islamophobia Awareness Month (IAM) this November. This year’s theme, “Seeds of Change,” highlights the small yet impactful actions we can each take to foster awareness and address Islamophobia.
We have attached a letter with more details, along with resources we’ve developed, including a video on experiences of Islamophobia in healthcare, practical steps, and a poster for display, to help mark the month. Please follow us on social media as we will be sharing more throughout the month. We also encourage you to organise your own events or discussions, reflecting on how Islamophobia affects your staff and patients and exploring practical steps to create a supportive workplace.
