Saudi Arabia requires all Hajj 2026 pilgrims to carry a valid quadrivalent ACYW meningitis vaccination certificate administered at least 10 days before arrival.
Recommended Vaccinations:
- Influenza (seasonal flu)
- Diphtheria, Tetanus, and Pertussis (DTP)
- Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR)
- Varicella (chickenpox)
- COVID-19
Why is vaccination important:
- Mixing with large number of people from across the world.
- May not have immunity; this ensures you are able to complete your hajj without significant preventable illness.
- Help protect those that are vulnerable and cannot have the vaccination themselves.
- Compulsory for entry to complete hajj
