The GPU is a two-day event features many exciting highlights. The conference includes an impressive array of international speakers.Parallel to the conference is an extensive exhibition showcasing halal businesses, organisations and unique retailers, which is where we will be managing the Health and Well being stalls.

This is a family event, with an extensive kids’ zone and funfair. It represents the diversity and breadth of our communities in thought, lifestyle, education, entertainment, and exploration. It is recognised as a landmark event in the UK.

? Venue: ExCel, London – 1 Western Gateway London E16 1XL

The British Islamic Medical Association (BIMA) will be hosting several stalls to promote health and wellness at the event. These will include a health stand offering health promotion activities, mini health checks such as blood pressure measurements, and health-related conversations. Additionally, an ambulance will be available on-site to provide immunisations. We will also be conducting health research with attendees to better understand community health needs.

We are looking for healthcare professionals and students to volunteer and assist with the health checks, provide health advice, and support the research we will be conducting at the event. Your involvement will be crucial in delivering health promotion, facilitating meaningful health conversations, and contributing to our community health research efforts.
