As healthcare professionals, we remain deeply concerned by the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill, now progressing through the House of Lords. We opposed it in the Commons, and now urge you to write to the Lords to highlight its serious risks, particularly for the most vulnerable. Having cared for patients nationwide, often in under-resourced settings, we know their end-of-life distress. They deserve greater support and compassion, not the dangers this Bill would bring.
