The British Muslim Health Awards, established by BIMA, recognise and celebrate the vital impact of Muslim professionals across the UK’s health sector. Building on a successful inaugural year, the Awards are judged by independent experts and span all disciplines of healthcare—honouring the contributions of the tens of thousands of British Muslims working across the sector.
Taking place in December 2026 at the iconic Royal Nawaab Pyramid in Stockport, the Awards will be a prestigious black-tie gala celebrating achievement, storytelling, and collaboration. The evening will feature keynote speakers, live entertainment, strategic networking, and a three-course dinner, bringing together healthcare leaders, community figures, and national media.
These Awards recognise those in health and care who serve with compassion, integrity, and a commitment to uplifting others, often without seeking recognition.
Humility and recognition are not opposites. This is about holding up a mirror to our culture of excellence, not spotlighting egos. We know that those who are most deserving are often the least likely to be seen or celebrated. Many work quietly, guided by compassion, faith, justice, and a deep sense of duty. We welcome self-nominations for this reason.
If this speaks to you, or someone you know who deserves recognition, this is the space to step forward, gently and courageously.
To ensure fairness and inclusivity, BIMA has commissioned Caledonia Connections, an independent organisation, to help deliver these awards. They’ll also be identifying and nominating unsung heroes from across the country to help us have the most representative ceremony, reflecting our diverse communities.
